Capítulo 1: La Física del Buceo
El mundo submarino ha tenido siempre una especial fascinación para los seres humanos. Los efectos del medio ambiente subacuático en el cuerpo humano, así como el equipo utilizado exigen la aplicación de la física. Por lo tanto, cuanto más preparado estés para aplicar la física al medio ambiente subacuático, más preparado estarás para cualquier situación que pueda surgir. En este primer capítulo de tu curso Ciencia del Buceo gratis estudiarás los siguientes apartados:

Capítulo 2: La Fisiología del Buceo
Como algunos de los efectos fisiológicos son peligrosos, es importante saber por qué existen las normas y las razones para establecer márgenes de seguridad. La razón de este capítulo es que puedas ser más responsable, de forma segura y divertida, pero siempre mientras gestionas el riesgo.
En este capítulo descubrirás porqué suceden los barotraumatismos, como prevenirlos, cuáles son sus síntomas y cómo tratarlos.
- Los parámetros fisiológicos y limitaciones para bucear con seguridad
- El efecto fisiológico en los seres humanos bajo el agua
- Los fundamentos teóricos de la fisiología subacuática
- Cómo prevenir el daño fisiológico o las lesiones al buceador
- Los síntomas de una posible enfermedad
- Las acciones preventivas que pueden tomarse para impedir y/o revertir cualquier daño al buceador
Capítulo 3: La Teoría de la Descompresión
En el capítulo anterior, se estudia cómo el organismo absorbe y elimina el nitrógeno, y cómo se produce la enfermedad de descompresión. Toda esta información se puede reducir a tres conceptos: profundidad, tiempo y velocidad de ascenso. Las tablas de buceo y los ordenadores simplemente te informarán de cuánto tiempo puedes permanecer bajo el agua a diferentes profundidades y cómo regresar a superficie de forma segura.
Hay otros factores además del control de la profundidad y el tiempo. Por ejemplo, los modelos de descompresión se han desarrollado para su uso a nivel del mar. Qué sucede cuando te sumerjes en altitud y la presión atmosférica es inferior a 1 bar? Qué sucede cuando buceas y a continuación, vuelas o conduces con presión atmosférica reducida? Qué hay acerca del buceo con descompresión?
Ya te habrás dado cuenta que controlar la absorción de nitrógeno es una de las cosas más importantes que debe hacer un buceador y por eso aprenderás a:
- Explicar la aplicación de la Teoría de la Descompresión
- Enumerar las diferentes situaciones que desafían la Teoría de la Descompresión
Capítulo 4: Equipo de Buceo
Una parte importante de un curso de buceo es la formación en el manejo de equipos. De hecho, la enseñanza del buceo, en la que puedes participar algún día, evolucionó a partir de la necesidad de informar a los usuarios de cómo usar equipos de buceo de manera segura.
Pero todo este capítulo no es sobre la formación, es sobre ti. Lo más importante del equipo y, especialmente, de ser dueño de tu equipo es la comodidad y la seguridad en tus aventuras de buceo. La forma más cómoda, conveniente y agradable de bucear es con un adecuado equipo propio.

Capítulo 5: El Medio Acuático

Ser un buceador certificado por una agencia reconocida. Aunque no seas un buceador SSI, si tienes tu certificación Open Water Diver de cualquier certificadora de buceo (como PADI, FEDAS….) podrás sacarte este curso.

La edad mínima para realizar el programa “Ciencia del Buceo” SSI es de 10 años. Los menores con edades comprendidas entre 10 y 11 años recibirán la certificación “Ciencia del Buceo Junior”. Al cumplir los 12 años, su certificación se actualizará automáticamente a “Ciencia del Buceo”, del mismo modo que sucederá con su certificación “Open Water Junior”.

SECTION 1: DIVING PHYSICS
The underwater world has always had a special fascination for human beings. The effects of the underwater environment on the human body as well as the equipment used require the application of physics.
Therefore, the more prepared you are to apply physics to the underwater environment, the more prepared you will be for any situation that may arise. In this first chapter of your Free Diving Science course you will study the following sections:

SECTION 2: Diving Physiology
Since some of the physiological effects are dangerous, it is important to know why the standards exist and the reasons for establishing safety margins.
The reason for this chapter is you to be more responsible, safe and fun, but always while managing risk.In this chapter you will discover why barotraumatisms happen, how to prevent them, what are their symptoms and how to treat them.
- Physiological parameters and limitations to dive safety

SECTION 3: DECOMPRESSION THEORY
In the previous chapter, we talk about how the body absorbs and eliminates nitrogen, and how decompression sickness occurs. All this information can be reduced to three concepts: depth, time and rate of ascent.
Dive tables and computers will simply tell you how long you can stay underwater at different depths and how to safely return to the surface.
There are other factors besides depth and time control. For example, decompression models have been developed for use at sea level.

THE REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE THE SSI DIVING SCIENCE COURSE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Be a qualified diver by a recognized agency. Even if you are not an SSI diver, if you have your Open Water Diver certification of any dive certifier (such as PADI, FEDAS…)you can take this course off.
- Minimum age to perform the SSI “Diving Science” program is 10 years. Minors between the ages of 10 and 11 will receive the “Junior Diving Science” certification. When you turn 12, your certification will be automatically upgraded to “Diving Science”, just as it will with your “Open Water Junior” certification.

- Study the chapters of the theory and approve the evaluations of each chapter.
- Pass a final test test with a minimum score of 80% if it is by videoconference or 100% if you do it self-taught on the platform.
- Contact us in order to conduct the review session and we process your certification.
