In order to be able to do a diving baptism in Tenerife, according to the current legislation, it is necessary:
Take a look of the Official Medical Questionnaire.
It lasts approximately two and a half to three hours maximum.
It can take place every day during the morning (at 9,00 am or at 12,30 pm) depending on the availability of the dive centre.
If you wish to book the second boat dive, we recommend organising the excursion on two different days in order to take advantage of the first hour of the morning of each day. This is the time when the animals are most active at the dive sites
Recommended option* This mini-course or advanced baptism will make your first diving experience complete. Temporary certification that lasts only 6 months, during which it can be validated with an Open Water Diver course dive.
With your Open Water Diver certification you can dive up to 18 meters deep anywhere in the world. Discover the advantages of being a certified diver and start exploring the depths of the Great Blue.

Minimum age: 8 years old
Duration: 2 hours and half aproximately
Time underwater: between 45 and 60 minutes depending on air consumption.
Maximum: 6 meters
No certification is issued nor does it enable you to continue diving.
Learn to dive by becoming a "Basic Diver"
Minimum age: 10 years old
Duration: 4 hours and half aproximately
Time underwater: between 45 and 60 minutes per dive depending on air consumption.
Certification: enables you to dive up to 12 meters deep accompanied by an instructor anywhere in the world for 6 months after its issuance. Once elapsed, the student must return to the Basic Diver program or take a Scuba Diver/Open Water Diver.
Learn to dive by becoming a "Scuba Diver".
Minimum age: 10 years old
Duration: 2 days of trainning (16 -24 hours)
Time underwater: between 45 and 60 minutes per dive depending on air consumption.
Certification: enables you to dive up to 12 meters deep accompanied by an instructor anywhere in the world. Permanent Certification.
Become an "Open Water Diver".
Minimum age: 10 years old
Duration: 3 - 5 days of trainning (24 - 32 hours)
Time underwater: between 45 and 60 minutes per dive depending on air consumption.
Certification: enables you to dive up to 18 meters deep accompanied by a buddie anywhere in the world. Permanent Certification.
If you already have a Scuba Diver/Open Water certification or higher, but haven't dived in a while, you may need to refresh your diving knowledge and skills.

Duration: 2 hours and half aproximately
Time underwater: between 45 and 60 minutes depending on air consumption.
No certification is issued but it does enable you to continue diving.
